Description Ms2ger 2010-11-30 11:17:06 UTC
Both WebKit and Gecko implement DOM L&S' LSProgressEvent's position and totalSize attributes on (some?) XHR ProgressEvents. This should be specified, either in XHR or in PE.

As they cannot remove it?
Comment 2 Jonas Sicking (Not reading bugmail) 2010-11-30 11:42:51 UTC
I'd prefer to remove it, but I'm not sure how feasible that is. Note that I think that the attributes aren't simply synonyms with .loaded and .total as iirc they include header size.

Lets go to Last Call without these: http://krijnhoetmer.nl/irc-logs/whatwg/20110215#l-876
