This is an archived snapshot of W3C's public bugzilla bug tracker, decommissioned in April 2019. Please see the home page for more details.
The algorithm for deleting names for dataset DOMStringMap objects does not need to check the name to ensure it doesn't contain /-[A-Z]/. The algorithm is only invoked for properties that are "corresponding named properties", which are the names of the items returned from the algorithm for getting the list of name-value pairs, and that algorithm will never return an invalid dataset property name.
