If the document head lacks the required title element, the validator issues a rather ambiguous error message: end tag for "HEAD" which is not finished It mentions the possibility that a required child element was not included. It would be good if it could identify the missing child. Something like: "HEAD" lacks a required child element: "TITLE"
That's a very good idea, but is unfortunately very hard to do in the current code. I'll leave this feature request open, but it's unlikely to get implemented any time soon.
