New Business

Fazio_: we have published our document recently. any feedback?

Fazio_: there are a few organization presenting at CSUN about how are they using accessibility maturity model

jlkline: anyone from this group will be at CSUN?

Benetech Presentation

CharlesL1: presenting and sharing screen. Presented it infront of senior leadership and department heads about this maturity model

CharlesL1: went to each department and explain how this model works

CharlesL1: I have created a new spreadsheet for each departments e.g. 11

CharlesL1: presenting overall average of each dimension

<Fazio_> Percentage vs level?

Fazio_: is this data helpful?

Dr__Keith: where does that data fits?

Fazio_: what is the correlation?

CharlesL1: it requires more data analysis

<SusiPallero> +1 to Jeff comment. How can we help people understand what is and is not N/A?

CharlesL1: we are constantly thinking that everything we use at Benetech is accessible

<Fazio_> the question I think is most important, what is most important: a score or the stage

Dr__Keith: question about scoring. some companies may need to show high scores. Scoring is open and not defined by this group.

Dr__Keith: scoring like if someone is on 66% but consider them as optimized level. how does that works?

Fazio_: we need to figure out what is most important thing for various company and need to change our approach accordingly.

Dr__Keith: what you leverage this for the road map? what was the overall decision making process? such as areas that are open to improvements

CharlesL1: got feedback from each department about the things that we dont do but we should do.

<Fazio_> scoring may be misleading. Maybe adectival rating is better

<kline> https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/d/d7/Star_plot_Detail.gif

Fazio_: we want to be a roadmap. we need more organization to test this model which will be very helpful

CharlesL1: I am willing to send a secondary spreadsheet if thats useful
