ShEx and ShExMap

<inserted> Eric's demo: https://rawgit.com/shexSpec/shex.js/push-down/extensions/shex-map/doc/shexmap-simple.html

(Eric does a demo of ShEx and ShExMap)

harold: A python program can translate any FHIR/JSON into FHIR/RDF.
... Also, with ShExMap the transformation rules are embedded in the shape (schema) itself. You also might want to use the same shape for different kinds of transformation. I want to work on decoupling them.
... Because you have a parse tree when you get done, in most cases it is fairly unambiguous when you are at a place in a parse tree.
... In Antler or Yacc all the rules have names.
... Need to experiment.
... Antler has a lot of backing, so if we can tie into that it would save work.

david: To what extent does a central ont help your translation approach (question to Katya)?

pawel: It did not impact the translation process, but it affects particular translations.

Next Steps

joao: We should try FHIR/RDF, then discuss it.

katya: Regarding pros/cons of both approaches (shex vs IoT translation), there are some common ideas, but different implementation approaches.

david: How about exchanging examples?
