Sebastian: presents slides
regarding a proposal for a TD Model (current status) and slides
for the next F2F meeting
... presents an example (LED lamp)
Basic properties of a lamp
e.g., name, description, context, location
Data (simple and complex) is a part of the model
Actions and Events are presented in the example too
A JSON-LD representation of the example will be provided later too
Darko: in the presented example one could also use events to trigger other actions. In the model we could have as inputs for actions also events (e.g., an action is triggered by an event)
Ashok: an event is not really data. It is a message.
Victor: an event is a message with a timestamp.
Sebastian: we should clarify at the next F2F what events are and what their role in the TD model is.
Darko: regarding the vocabulary for the TD model we could align with the Spatial Data on the Web Working Group, where currently the SSN ontology is being extended.
Sebastian: the plan for the F2F meeting is to make overview of the TD activities on the first day; to have a break-up session on the second day; and to align activities with the other task forces on the third day.
