new on TR http://www.w3.org/TR/tr-status-drafts.html#tr_LCWD

mc: no new publications :)
... if i finish the spec review tracker tool, it may be the solution

Community Groups http://www.w3.org/community/groups/

<MichaelC> Web NFC Community Group

mc: web nfc
... group looks active

js: may not affect UI, but may need additional time - to avoid things timing out too quickly

mc: if there is no hard coded fix timeout that would be a11y breakage

js: if depends on individual implementation could have bigger problem
... anyone have experience with this?

jn: applepay uses nfc

sm: will mention to ?? tomorrow

<MichaelC> Extensible Data Model Declaration Language for Education Community Group

mc: may relate to IndieUI context stuff... Mark Sadeki is a participant, do we want to say output might interest us?

<MichaelC> Exposing IEEE LOM metadata as Linked Data Community Group

mc: Mark is not in this one yet, no email activity

js: some kind of communication layer, skip?

CSV on the Web

CSV

js: looked at spec earlier
... got some comments on this doc via email

<janina> Leonie Watson: http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-pfwg/2015May/0067.html

<janina> Chaals Neville: http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-pfwg/2015May/0069.html

sm: summaries Leonie's cooments - a couple of grammatical errors and a data model comment
... it would be great to expose nave annotation for roles, CSV is addressing her comment

mc: my understanding is you label columns but not rows

js: it seems the idea is to represent data out of a database, with only two know delimiters (, new line)
... and can be used to export and import data
... on the other hand, wikipedia references W3C defining CSV in the future, it may make sense

sm: it represents rows of data, depends on how they resolve it

mc: I don't know if we want to support Leone's idea

sm: chaals agrees with Leone's comment, issue with may vs should
... chaals has a comment about the spec
... chaals makes a comment about metadata and headers
... does anyone think we should be indorsing these comments?

cs: makes sense to me

sm: in the spec there is an image, they should use a longdesc

js: sounds like we could indorse the direction
... I am a little worried about how we integrate asynchronous communication?

cs: could send an email asking whether they want PF to endorse it or it is their own opinion

js: sounds reasonable to me

Rechartering Continued

js: want a quick response on what if group splits -
... research activity joining APA as a task force
... does that make sense as an alignment?

rs: I suggested that quite a while ago, you will get more out of it

<jamesn> I like that idea too. I think I suggested that to Judy too.

rs: APA a good place to park research

cs: if APA gets research groups, Wednesday call may not be enough
... how do we get everyone to know each other

js: COGA has a large group that doesn't have a lot of other W3C activity for many members

mc: we haven't relied on that group on reviewing documents, but there may be good opportunity
... we need to be more proactive at reaching out to a wider pool and this helps us with that

cs: I think we should try to have an all APA meeting at TPAC
