js: discussion of rendering engine vs UA UI
2. Test Implementations: Perform these tests and verify at least two results on user agents, and to the extent needed, combinations of user agents and extensions.
<jeanne> http://w3c.github.io/UAAG/UAAG20/#def-extension
js: use def of user agent add-0n instead of extensions
gl: should we clarify in the def that AT is not an add-on
proposal: 2. Test Implementations: Perform these tests and verify at least two results on user agents, and to the extent needed, combinations of user agents and user agent add-ons.

RESOLUTION: Exit Criteria is https://www.w3.org/WAI/UA/work/wiki/Latest_Draft_of_Exit_Criteria
<Greg> Implementation Note 9: Relationship with operating system or platform: The user agent does not need to implement every behavior itself. A required behavior can be provided by the platform, user agent, user agent extensions, or potentially other layers. All are acceptable, as long as they are enumerated in the conformance claim.
<Greg> In Implementation Note 9 we should change "extensions" to our newer, broader term, "add-ons".

RESOLUTION: accepted proposal for second item.
SLH: [in response to SH02] I agree that most UAs today provide zoom at any increment - yeah! I do still think it is *very important that the standard include what users need*, even if it is already implemented in today's UAs -- to ensure that it is included in future UAs.

<jeanne> The commonly needed range is between 150-400%. Provide 6 steps in that range, or let the user set their own exact percentage.
RESOLUTION: modifying intent to include "The commonly needed range is between 150-400%. Provide 6 steps in that range, or let the user set their own exact percentage."

RESOLUTION: modifying intent to include "The commonly needed range is between 150-400%. A user agent could provide 6 steps in that range, or let the user set their own exact percentage."
<Jan> A user agent could provide 5 or 6 steps in that range or let the user set their own exact percentage.
RESOLUTION: response borders in 1.4.6, margins are in 1.4.3
sh: It seems the idea of "text... fits within the width of the viewport" is missing. Is this supposed to be covered in 1.8.14? If so, can you add that wording, e.g,. "The user can have the user agent override author-specified unit dimensions, so the text fits within the width of the viewport." ?
jr: we broke 1.8.7 in to multiple sc for testing purposes. we could not find an easy way to globally text a broad SC
RESOLUTION: we broke 1.8.7 in to multiple sc (1.8.13, 14, 15) for testing purposes. we could not find an easy way to globally test a broad SC. UAWG does not believe we have lost any functionality.
<Greg> Perhaps in the Intent and/or Summary we can say something like SC 1.8.13 through 1.8.15 work together to..."
<Greg> "... allow users to work with enlarged text without having to scroll horizontally."
