<trackbot> Date: 25 February 2015

General

Steven: I spoke to Nick, who is overloaded at work, but he says he will
... ... he will be back soon, and we can then discuss his topics
... XML London deadline coming soon

Rest of spec

From http://www.w3.org/MarkUp/Forms/wiki/XForms_2.0#Glossary_Of_Terms

Steven: In all the examples, all uses of <data> are blank
... that must be something to do with the wiki
... For instance http://www.w3.org/MarkUp/Forms/wiki/XForms_2.0#Copy_Nodeset
... I don't know if converting to HTML fixes this, or whether we need to do some editing, for instance by changing < to <, but we need to check

<scribe> ACTION: Steven to check all uses of <data> [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2015/02/25-forms-minutes.html#action01]

<trackbot> Created ACTION-2015 - Check all uses of <data> [on Steven Pemberton - due 2015-03-04].

Alain: In the glossary, it mentions XPath 1.0 in instance data node

Steven: I wondered if the data mutations examples wouldn't be better in a separate XForms Cookbook
... and secondly if the examples at the end are interesting enough...
... any opinions?

Alain: What else should be there?

Steven: True, and maybe a wiki would be better for that
... and I think there are a number of things that would be useful to collect as techniques
... for instance polling using the timer
... there are lots of examples of idioms that could usefully be collected, and not in the spec.

Erik: That would be a lot of additional work

Steven: True

Alain: 17.1 is about P3P, which has been deprecated.
... it should be marked as such

Steven: Good point

<scribe> ACTION: Steven mark section 17.1 P3P as deprecated [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2015/02/25-forms-minutes.html#action02]

<trackbot> Created ACTION-2016 - Mark section 17.1 p3p as deprecated [on Steven Pemberton - due 2015-03-04].

Erik: I still have a terrrible review backlog. You will be hearing from me though.
... and some action items

Steven: Yes, I have an editing backlog I need to catch up on.

AOB

Steven: Next week let's see if we can discuss some of Erik's backlog...
