garykac: We got UI events, code and key, but didn't update DOML3.

<garykac> Back in june we updated the WDs for most of the specs

<garykac> But not the main Dom 3 events

<garykac> That means that the |key| tables are duplicated at the moment: in D3E and in D3E-key

<garykac> The current D3E WD is from November

Mmm, current TR doc is way out of date.

We should publish an updated heartbeat document.

Any objections?

<garykac> Agree.

I will start a thread with Art to get the ball rolling.

<garykac> We have other things to fix, but they're not going to happen quickly (since most of them are requests for re-writes or more detail).

Last time we met, I was going to work on the BeforeInput dispatch model (to address two of our current bugs).

Unfortunately, I have been unable to make any progress on them :-(

<garykac> I recall a recent email W3C thread about making the specs use consistent boilerplate. Just a sec and I'll dig up the email.

That sounds interesting.

<garykac> http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-webapps/2014JulSep/0438.html

Gary reports that the example uses ReSpec too.

scribe: so it should be relatively easy to make this change :-)

<garykac> I've update bug: https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=26455 to include info about updating the boilerplate.

Nice.

garykac: Testing

Found some DOML3 Events tests to prepare for submission via web-platform-tests. I could get them ready for a pull-request.

I'll followup on that and see about getting the process of review started.

garykac: Just about out of interesting things to talk about...
... I'll probably dial-in to TPAC from home.

masayuki: anything to add before we wrap up?

<masayuki> Travis: Nothing, I'm still waiting D3E-key and D3E-code bugs to be fixed for flushing my patches.

Ok.

Thanks!

garykac: Next time, we need to walk through the bugs.

Shall we meet again in two weeks then?

<masayuki> Sounds great.

<garykac> I'm looking at a few of them and realize that I've lost some context - it'd be nice to get that again.

<garykac> OK. In two weeks it is.

<garykac> Thank you everyone.

<masayuki> Thank you.

Super, see you then!
