Janina: we have an agreed way
toward a CfC to move to PR for longdesc
... a few steps to do
... respond to implementors feedback
... got a new implementer
... and we're addressing the comments
... we'll fold the changes as part of the CfC to move to
PR
... some of the language may change but it's editorial. it's
clarification.
... no impact on implementations
... I doubt we'll move today
... also wondered whether we should respond to the FO on the
list or not
... decide not to but still need to prepare the call with the
Director
... this is not a new issue and we're grateful to Apple for
bringing it up however
... to make sure it received due considerations
... didn't get to the other business
Paul: EME tf report
<paulc> EME heartbeat published today: http://www.w3.org/TR/2014/WD-encrypted-media-20140828/

Paul: MSE CR test suite is making progress. Google PR has been approved
<paulc_> https://github.com/w3c/web-platform-tests/pulls/shishimaru more MSE tests
Paul: so bulk of time is on EME. MSE tests in the background.
Sam: this is being picked up
again
... we'll proceed soon
Sam: both CR and Level 2 were updated
<rubys> http://www.w3.org/TR/2014/WD-2dcontext2-20140828/
Sam: published as a note. retired.
Sam: published today

Paul: timetable?
Plh: move to LC asap
Paul: should the Group review this?
Plh: would be helpful
Paul: ok, will do
Sam: we need a new target...
Janina: mid-September? first priority is longdesc
Sam: covered by Janina earlier
Plh: we're proposing to drop DataCue and DnD from the spec. DataCue only has one implementation (Safari), and DnD tests, implementations and spec text is too unstable to keep. Ruby and input/@time are in since we have the two implementations.
Sam: scribe?
Shane: will scribe
