Guides to Implementation of the (Revised) PSI Directive in Portal
AMA is the Portuguese public institution responsible for Open Government and Open Data initiatives. Among other initiatives, it is responsible for the development and maintenance of the Portuguese open data portal - dados.gov, gathering and harvesting data from different sources among the Portuguese public sector. As such, it has edited and published an open data guide, aimed at explaining the basics regarding open data policies and the benefits of reusing Public Sector Information. This guide is aimed at public organizations and it covers the basics of the open data movement, technologies, platforms, standards and processes for opening up data. It references an assortment of international good practices, including Share-PSI best practices.
