Coming from Nuremberg
Take the A9 Autobahn towards München-Freimann exit - left onto Heidemannstraße towards Garching - turn right at last traffic light towards city center (Stadtmitte, Freisinger Landstraße) - turn left at next traffic light (Floriansmühlstraße) - keep going straight to the BR compound.
Coming from Salzburg
Autobahn A99 to interchange (Autobahnkreuz) München-Nord - go to A9 Towards München-Freimann exit - left onto Heidemannstraße towards Garching - turn right at last traffic light towards city center (Stadtmitte, Freisinger Landstraße) - turn left at next traffic light (Floriansmühlstraße) - keep going straight to the BR compound.
Coming from the airport
From airport terminal to S-Bahnhof (subway station) take the S8 to Unterföhring (4 stations) - by taxi from the Unter-föhring station to the IRT (approx. 5 km).
Coming from the Hauptbahnhof (central station)
Take the S-Bahn to Marienplatz - change to U6 towards Garching- Hochbrück or Fröttmaning - from the Studentenstadt stop via bus or taxi to the IRT (approx. 3 km) - approx. 20 minutes walk to the IRT from Freimann stop.
