Update on actions

ACTION-73 have questions

ACTION-73?

<trackbot> ACTION-73 -- Arnaud Le Hors to [EDITOR] Update spec to reflect resolution on HTTP OPTIONS -- due 2013-06-25 -- PENDINGREVIEW

<trackbot> http://www.w3.org/2012/ldp/track/actions/73

JohnArwe: not sure what the editorial changes were

Arnaud: believe we need to make another change

<TallTed> where's the resolution in question? actions without clear link to whatever they're based on are hard to usefully review/follow...

SteveS: added it under paging, just the options support for first page

JohnArwe: couldn't find what editorial changes were needed based on following ACTION-73 to ISSUE-32 and what the changes for HTTP OPTIONS was intended

<Arnaud> https://www.w3.org/2013/meeting/ldp/2013-06-18#resolution_2

JohnArwe: will take ACTION-73 out of pending review to open to make the changes

<mielvds> did we decide throwing out HEAD then?

Arnaud: ACTION-72 and ACTION-86 are pending review as changes are done
... no changes to HEAD, OPTIONS is added

mielvds: believes we discussed changing HEAD from a MUST to a SHOULD, now that OPTIONS is a MUST

JohnArwe: can close ACTION-72 and ACTION-86

…but was looking for inferencing wording example where we don't need to put explicit in content that a LDPC is an LDPR

<Yves> I can't see why someone would want to avoid doing HEAD

<TallTed> please repeat, ericP, you were breaking up

Yves, I think that is what we concluded in Madrid…why avoid, you need to do GET anyway and there are so few MUSTs

ericP: believes it would be good to have the statement be that all knows facts should be included in the rep

<Yves> SteveS, also SHOULD is not a MAY, but still testing all the MUSTs will give a free win for this one

<ericP> don't: <p1> rdfs:subPredicateOf rdfs:membershipPredicate . <C> <p1> <item1>, <item2> .

<JohnArwe> ericp: normative text in draft is 4.1.13 LDPR servers MUST NOT require LDP clients to implement inferencing in order to recognize the subset of content defined by LDP. Other specifications built on top of LDP MAY require clients to implement inferencing. The practical implication is that all content defined by LDP must be explicitly represented.

<JohnArwe> ...was looking for simple (counter-) example to add to that.

Arnaud: PROPOSE to close ACTION-72 and ACTION-86

<stevebattle4> +1

<stevebattle4> :)

+1

<mielvds> +1

<BartvanLeeuwen> +1

<TallTed> +0

<Arnaud> Resolved: close ACTION-72 and ACTION-86

Arnaud: Update from the editors?

<stevebattle4> We still need those UC&R reviews (you know who you are).

…can we have all edits done by next Monday (July 15)?

SteveS: yes

JohnArwe: yes

Arnaud: all WG members should have their review glasses ready on July 15th
... hearing no issues with this proposed schedule

Other status reports

<JohnArwe> I should also note, on action-80, the spec update (remove 4.1.5) is done. Action is still open for the "add to BP" part.

stevebattle4: Handling the various review comments, both making changes and providing feedback

<roger> +q

<Zakim> JohnArwe, you wanted to see if action-82 can be done in time to draft LC content

<stevebattle4> It's the only way I can get all my work done :)

JohnArwe: wanted to see if we can move up GSP review on mielvds to fend off any LC issues

mielvds: plans to get to it next week

roger: Primer has taken the wiki and put in respec form and in the repo

…looking to add feature to pick your own format

<Zakim> JohnArwe, you wanted to ask arnaud about process for LC comments

JohnArwe: How we are going to handle LC comments?

ericP: we can setup a mailing list for comments

https://www.w3.org/2006/02/lc-comments-tracker/35422/
