Updated Requirements Document

http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-wai-ert/2013Jun/0016.html

Please review for any remaining issues

CV: waiting for scenario from Samuel
... scenario from Emmanuelle not very clear

SM: mail seems lost
... will resend to the list

SAZ: always good to CC the list
... in case someone else has comments
... and to archive the message
... what is unclear about Emmanuelle's scenario

CV: discussed last call, she said she would rework it

Frist Editor Draft of AERT

http://www.w3.org/WAI/ER/WD-AERT/ED-AERT

"Guidance on the development of web accessibility evaluation tools"

CV: some parts from the requirements document
... like introduction and the overall structure
... started with one feature for discussion
... to see if that is the depth we want

SM: need more detail about the types of markup languages, how they can be parsed, etc

CV: if we go into that depth than we design the tools

SM: model for XML is different to HTML5 for example
... impacts tool development

SAZ: think the individual paragraphs seem too long and wordy
... but the categories could be expanded
... to include specific formats that are commonly used
... for example HTML4, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS2, CSS3, SVG, and PDF

CV: SMIL

SM: Flash

SAZ: WAI-ARIA
... and a generic "other formats"
... same issue with second feature
... all content there but too wordy
... also not clear what parts of this section are individual "sub-features"
