<LjW> agenda: this

New bugs review

<MichaelC> scribe: hhillen

HH: No bugs that need to be tracked by TF at this point

Text alternative bugs http://tinyurl.com/ckoq2cd

LW: No response form Judy or the text sub team
... I will contact them this week

Media bugs http://tinyurl.com/bsjhpav

LW: No response from the sub team

ARIA bugs http://tinyurl.com/cgz8fae

LW: No report from Steve or the ARIA team

Drag and drop bugs

<LjW> https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=7721

LW: We noticed there were a few drag and drop bugs, some of which were assigned to Gez

<LjW> >

LW: He said the drag & drop spec had changed significantly since this bug was created and he and Everett reported some issues on it.

MC: IT sounds to me like a new review of Drag & Drop is needed
... Maybe we should ask the TF tomorrow to close all the drag & drop bugs
... If somebody objects to that they should review them

General bugs http://tinyurl.com/cv37vtz

<MichaelC> https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/buglist.cgi?keywords=a11ytf&keywords_type=allwords&f1=keywords&list_id=3495&o1=nowordssubstr&resolution=NEEDSINFO&resolution=INVALID&resolution=WONTFIX&query_format=advanced&bug_status=RESOLVED&v1=a11y_text-alt,%20aria,%20media,%20canvas,%20a11y_focus&product=HTML%20WG

MC: There are ten more to review

https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=13573

MC: UAAG does address this at a high level, it would be useful to have low level information in the user agent implementation guide
... Marking as verified wontfix

https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=13575 : Retrieving keybindings in automation-friendly format

LW: Let's take the TF keyword out and assign it back to Greg

https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=13638 : Consider referencing User Agent Guidelines in section 4.10.22.2 Implicit submissions

MC: I think this also falls under the UA Implementation Guide question
... We could assign it to Kelly, Take out the TF keyword, or mark is as verified

LW: I think we should take out the keyword
... Also assign it to Kelly

https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=13639 : CSS2 System Colors Should Be Recognized

MC: Do nothing for this bug for now

https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=13655 : Support for viewports and positions

HH: I agree with Tab's comment, you can already do the requested features with the existing methods

MC: Mark it as verified

https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=13657 : exact number not imporant in range doesn't make sense.

MC: I'm inclined to agree with Cynthia in this case
... It sounds like this is another one to take to the ta

task force

https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=13668 : Generated content must be accessible

MC: Marking this as verified

https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=13693 : CSS WG HTML5 Last Call Comments

LW: Take the TF keyword out

https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=14107 : Non-conformance of the summary attribute for the table element makes WCAG 1.0 compliance impossible

HH: It mentions WCAG 1, but this bug is really about whether or not the summary attribute should be obsolete
... Even considering WCAG 1 the summary attribute is an optional checkpoint

MC: The summary issue is still open but dealt with in other bugs. No need to keep this WCAG 1 specific bug open. CLosing

https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=16061 : Required edit should be applicable to fieldset

MC: I think this is still a valid issue, we need to assign it to somebody
... We may even go as far as to mark this as reopened

LW: You can assign this to me, and reopen it

<LjW> http://www.w3.org/community/editing/

<LjW> http://dvcs.w3.org/hg/editing/raw-file/tip/editing.html

LW: https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=13429 : Section 7.5 contenteditable and designMode must make navigation consistent platform conventions

MC: Marking it as closed

LW: what should our next step be?

MC: Maybe we should go back to triage new bugs

<MichaelC> maybe we need to look at ¨new¨ bugs and see if they need to be assigned etc.
