LC-2612 : H80 not accessibility support

RESOLUTION: Accept proposed response as amended

LC-2626 : For longer time-outs, would not a control that removes automatic refresh meet the SC?

RESOLUTION: Accept proposed response.

LC-2717 : WCAG 2.0 - 2.4.1 Bypass Blocks

RESOLUTION: Leave this open -- needs more thought - based on comments in meeting and survey

Approval of WCAG2ICT Success Criterion 2.4.2 (Page Titled)

RESOLUTION: Accept as proposed

Approval of WCAG2ICT Success Criterion 4.1.1 (Parsing)

RESOLUTION: Accept as proposed - with format abbreviations (e.g. ODF, OOXML etc.) spelled out.

Approval of WCAG2ICT definition of Non-embedded content

https://www.dropbox.com/s/adjctx6b1f5qmvy/WCAG2ICT.xlsx

<Loretta> Note 2: This success criterion covers sections within writing, not user interface components. User Interface components are covered under Success Criterion 4.1.2.

<korn> Some options:

<korn>  1. Replace "content" with "Non-web content & software" most places it is mentioned, but with "Non-web content" ONLY in some (e.g. 2.4.1)?

<korn>  2. Define "content" as "Non-web content & software", and then be special with a few places stating that "content" is different for this one(e.g. 2.4.1)?

<korn>  3. Define "content" as "Non-web content & software", and then say a few (e.g. 2.4.1) don't apply to software?  (or "is automatically met by software")?

<Zakim> Judy, you wanted to note where we are timeline-wise

<Judy> JB reminder: (work statement, out of scope: "Determining whether or not WCAG 2.0 or any of its provisions should be applied to non-web content")

<korn> ack

RESOLUTION: See if WCAG2ICT tf can use something besides Non-embedded and NWNE that is more generic like non-web content and software - with specific notes on specific success criterion.

Approval of WCAG2ICT note for "ambiguous to users in general"

RECOMMENDATION: Accepted with provision that "non-embedded content" be repaired as discussed above

<Ryladog> +1

<Ryladog> I can stay

<korn> +1 to continue

RESOLUTION: Accepted with provision that "non-embedded content" be repaired as discussed above.

Approval of WCAG2ICT note for "contrast ratio"

RESOLUTION: Accept as proposed

Approval of WCAG2ICT note for "keyboard interface"

<Loretta> Personal comment: I would find it valuable to see a document containing issues uncovered by the task force in applying WCAG to non-web content and software, for consideration by policy makers.

<Loretta> http://www.w3.org/TR/ATAG20/#glossary

Keyboard interfaces are programmatic services provided by many platforms that allow operation in a device independent manner

RESOLUTION: Accept as proposed and Task force may add the following to sentence to notes if they decide: "Keyboard interfaces are programmatic services provided by many platforms that allow operation in a device independent manner."

Approval of WCAG2ICT note for "label"

RESOLUTION: Accept as proposed

Approval of WCAG2ICT note for "name"

RESOLUTION: Accept as proposed changing "however it is called in different APIs" to "whatever that function is called in different platform APIs" and suggesting that examples be added of the Accessible Name corollaries in each of the known AAPIs at this time along with the AAPI.

Approval of WCAG2ICT note for "relative luminance"

RESOLUTION: Accept as proposed

Approval of WCAG2ICT note for "role"

<Ryladog> +1

RESOLUTION: Accept as proposed

Changes to SC 3.2.3 Sufficient Techniques

<korn> ack

<Loretta> http://www.w3.org/WAI/GL/UNDERSTANDING-WCAG20/consistent-behavior-consistent-locations.html

<Loretta> http://www.w3.org/TR/2012/NOTE-WCAG20-TECHS-20120103/G61

<korn> Question regarding the word "control" in the first example of http://www.w3.org/TR/UNDERSTANDING-WCAG20/consistent-behavior-consistent-locations.html

RESOLUTION: PDFs already moved in latest editors draft to advisory. G61 is sufficient but does go further than required as many techniques do.

Since G61is the only sufficient technique -- the Working Group would entertain a more narrow one if someone write one.
