if 'yang' doesn't show up soon we can start

I send him an email as well saying we just do this meeting on IRC

Agenda http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-html-testsuite/2012Jul/0001.html

Item #1 Check for new bugs on approved tests

short url to bug list http://tinyurl.com/6mvghxx

I just CC the list on an email from Zhang (Intel) about bug #17686

https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=17686

plh should be able to help him get access to Hg, etc...

It looks like he just wants to change to move these into the video folder

I have no objections for either, unless someone else objects?

Ms2Ger do you have an opinion?

<Ms2ger> That seems sensible; do you know why they ended up in the audio folder in the first place?

Ok I updated the bug

He may want to help in other ways as well

As mentioned earlier 'yang' (eric.sun@huawei.com) might start to participate

He asked some questions last week on the list and in the HTML WG meeting about ARIA and when this meeting occured.

Next bug is https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=17141

I opened a HTML5 spec bug and sent it out to the list https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=17760

No responses or changes have been made to the bug

scribe: though I did notice that Opera does indeed like to throw a SYNTAX_ERR exception
... as of Opera 12 on Windows

Item #2 New Test Submissions

Last time we met we didn't finish looking at the canvas updates, let continue

http://dvcs.w3.org/hg/html/rev/b1296b7b4910

was the changeset

Ms2Ger I'm looking at 2d.gradient.interpolate.zerosize.stroke.html , 2d.gradient.interpolate.zerosize.strokeRect.html, 2d.gradient.interpolate.zerosize.fillRect.html, 2d.gradient.interpolate.zerosize.fill.html

<Ms2ger> Yes?

Looking at how other browsers render/etc...

http://www.w3c-test.org/html/tests/submission/PhilipTaylor/canvas/2d.gradient.interpolate.zerosize.stroke.html looks fine

though not much interoperability

Opera and IE pass, FF/Chrome fail

http://www.w3c-test.org/html/tests/submission/PhilipTaylor/canvas/2d.gradient.interpolate.zerosize.strokeRect.html looks fine

Same interoperablility as the previous test (.stroke.html)

http://www.w3c-test.org/html/tests/submission/PhilipTaylor/canvas/2d.gradient.interpolate.zerosize.fillRect.html looks fine

Opera, Chrome and IE pass

http://www.w3c-test.org/html/tests/submission/PhilipTaylor/canvas/2d.gradient.interpolate.zerosize.fill.html looks fine

same interop as (.stroke.html)

Now looking at http://dvcs.w3.org/hg/html/rev/33e4659988c6

'Add tests for 2d.gradient.linear.zerosize in fillText/strokeText. '

http://www.w3c-test.org/html/tests/submission/PhilipTaylor/canvas/2d.gradient.interpolate.zerosize.fillText.html looks fine

http://www.w3c-test.org/html/tests/submission/PhilipTaylor/canvas/2d.gradient.interpolate.zerosize.strokeText.html looks fine

Opera and IE pass, FF and Chrome fail

Looking more at Hg http://dvcs.w3.org/hg/html/rev/4688f6dcf4af

Ms2Ger looks like you have testharness.js working with the canvas tests?

<Ms2ger> Roughly

Thanks for making progress on this 'bug'

<Ms2ger> Np

Now looking at http://dvcs.w3.org/hg/html/rev/abb491e5c18e

Which adds http://www.w3c-test.org/html/tests/submission/PhilipTaylor/canvas/2d.text.draw.fill.maxWidth.negative.html

Classic testing...

We had a large, small and zero for maxWidth

now we have negative

make sense

IE, Chrome pass and Opera and FF fail

FF throws 'NS_ERROR_ILLEGAL_VALUE'

This seems fine as well

Now looking at http://dvcs.w3.org/hg/html/rev/7145549fcecf

This is really big update....

Ms2Ger was your intention to make sure all tests throw "TypeError"?

<Ms2ger> Only where that was what was already being tested

This is going to take longer than we have left...

Since it updates 41 tests

Let's have a meeting next week so we can catchup on the Hg changes

Does that work for you Ms2ger?

The last agenda item was just a FYI about the meeting schedule has been extended

http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-html-testsuite/2012Jul/0000.html

I also updated the wiki

we are past the meeting end time...

<Ms2ger> Sure

so we should adjourn
