Updated schema conformance

<shadi> http://www.w3.org/WAI/ER/EARL10/WD-EARL10-Schema-20111205#conformance

Shadi: new editor draft, but still work to be done

<shadi> http://www.w3.org/TR/2011/WD-EARL10-Guide-20110510/#conformance

Shadi: reworded and simplified the initial section of the conformance section
... please have a look at that
... please check if that can be further simplified

Christophe: should it include information about the serialization?

Shadi: no, at the moment it only contains information about the RDF graph
... we could include some DTD / XML Schema that tools should conform to, if they produce XML serialization
... not as requirement, but as suggestion

Updated direction for Guide

<shadi> http://www.w3.org/WAI/ER/EARL10/WD-EARL10-Guide-20111205#assertion

<shadi> http://www.w3.org/WAI/ER/EARL10/WD-EARL10-Guide-20111205#toc

Shadi: links between guide and the schema document
... schema document contains the minimal information
... minimal information: definition, related properties, related classes, examples
... guide would contain more verbose information: usual usage, different types of examples
... please read from introduction (1.) to section 3.2

Remaining open issues

<shadi> http://www.w3.org/WAI/ER/EARL10/issues

Shadi: Issue "Explain more clearly the relationship between the generic class and the refined classes"
... explanation would go to the guide

<shadi> http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-earl10-comments/2011Sep/0000.html

Shadi: DC for example is very flexible, they use very few domains and ranges
... FOAF for example is more strict
... as long as there are no really convincing arguments don't open this up
... please think about that
... discuss this again next year

Domain of TestMode

<shadi> http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-wai-ert/2011Dec/0002.html

Shadi: I think you will need a new property
... new property would describe how a test should be carried out

<sinarmaya> I agree with Shadi, because I think that "criterion" is a very wcag specific term.

Shadi: the current earl:mode property describes how the test has been carried out

Next meetings

<shadi> http://w3c-test.org/framework/

Shadi: think about how to structure the test suite, e.g. use a wiki, set up a w3c framework instance
... next meeting on 4 January 2012
