test

Shadi gives testing and evaluation framework

evaluation and repair wg works on frameworks for evaluations of WAI guidelines... looking for our input

<shadi> http://www.w3.org/WAI/ER/2011/eval/

<shadi> http://www.w3.org/2011/05/testing-ig-charter.html

bentoweb taskforce shared EOWG and WCAG... repository around the test suite...

provide a mechanism to benchmark evaluation tools but work was not completely on the repository because of resources low. They expect to resume it.

ATAG, UAAG will develop their own test suites

Wai ARIA test suites ... Michael Cooper assigned to that

Accessibility Support .... test samples can be used against the Accessibility Support that we started during candidate recommendation .... trying to create a community contribution.

idea is to make a consistent evaluation methodology, defining a way to select representative pages, how to run techniques, how to develop AS assumption and a way to carry out evaluation of pages, and how to aggregate results

Want to start this very soon

EOWG will do this, the How To Meet, is geared to authors rather than evaluator, want an iterface that meets the needs of evaluators, maybe different page, maybe the same.

Evaluation methodology

<shadi> http://www.w3.org/WAI/ER/2011/eval/eval-tf

This will be how to evaluate one web site, including applications. That methodology ... lots of work has been done, hope to build on that

feedback more failures needed for evaluators, more Accessibility Support information

tolerance metrics on aggregating results...

task force.... will not be able to approve the document... each publication needs approval from WCAG and ERT

<shadi> http://www.w3.org/WAI/ER/2011/eval/eval-tf#timeline

task force members will have to be members of WCAG or ERT
