we should probably answer Henri Sivonen eamil, which has interesting issues ...
<mcsuarez> Information about Action-411: I contacted Courtney and she said me she will send the sample files by the end of this week.
issue about request data that is in a file that hasn't been
retrieved from the network yet.
raising security issue if the metadate is not in the file but elsewhere
Joakim: we designed the media ressource as a URI
werner do we want to be specific to that kind of issue only.
It does not fit with the web service architecture
Werner: we could have another spec on top of ourAPI doc to specify this particular case.
Joakim: Next TP we could raise these issue with W3C management and the HTML WG
Joakim; Also prose Werner suggestion. Also consider what is in scope with our charter.
werner also say that for the second point we don't go into that kind of details ...
Thierry: do we answer this email ?
Werner volunteers to draft a response
ACTION werner to draft a response to the HTML WG to Henri Sivonen's email
<trackbot> Created ACTION-416 - Draft a response to the HTML WG to Henri Sivonen's email [on Werner Bailer - due 2011-05-17].
Joakim: also a lack of communication we have invited the browsers vendors at least a more than a year.
difficult to have some coordination with the HTML WG

second issue :
- Should we state all these properties at the higher level. mediaResource and sub-classes will inherit them but if these classes are not duly identified, it would allow declaring properties without unnecessary blank nodes and the associated management of dummy identifiers
maybe we can relaw it a bit ...
<pchampin> pchampin: datatypes are important, I think we should keep them
ACTION Pierre-Antpoine to agree with Jpierre on a resolution here.
<trackbot> Sorry, couldn't find user - Pierre-Antpoine
<pchampin> ... but why not relax the contraints stating that, e.g., frameRate only applies to VideoTrack
<pchampin> ... I'll discuss this with Jean-Pierre on the mailing list.
Thierry raises the issue about Double/decimal update in the Ontology with the API spec as WebIDL does not have Decimal
<pchampin> oh, I missed that problem with 'date'...
** API changes regarding [1]
We cannot change from double to decimal, since this datatype is not defined in the last version of the WebIDL spec [2]. The only change we have to perform in the API spec from my point of view is the changing of the Date property description. We must also change the name of this property, because we encounter naming conflicts while implementing it in a web-based application. Werner will point this out in tomorrows teleconf.
ACTION Florian to sent the interface changes
<trackbot> Created ACTION-419 - Sent the interface changes [on Florian Stegmaier - due 2011-05-17].
