<pimpbot> bugmail: [Bug 12159] how to prevent registering a protocol twice w/o bothering the user? <11http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-html-bugzilla/2011May/0193.html> 4** [Bug 12148] I strongly believe disallowing 'true' and 'false' in boolean attributes will cause significant confusion in the future. Already, you can find respected web developers incorrectly referring to attributes as true and false. For instance: http://blog.getif <11http://lists.w3.

<pimpbot> bugmail: [Bug 12584] outerHTML should probably merge with adjacent text nodes if applicable. IE seems to do this to some extent, and WebKit just changed to do it: <https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=52686> This test shows behavior for outerText and outerHTML: <http://so <11http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-html-bugzilla/2011May/0195.html>

<pimpbot> bugmail: [Bug 12602] New: "<select><option>\n<option></select>" isn't a placeholder label option because its value is "\n", which is silly. We should strip spaces from the start and end in the definition of the option's label when it comes from textContent. <11http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-html-bugzilla/2011May/0196.html>

<pimpbot> bugmail: [Bug 12603] New: rendering section for <select>, the sentence that describes the rendering of <option>: the concept-option-label is in <code> instead of <span>. <11http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-html-bugzilla/2011May/0197.html>

<pimpbot> planet: Brendan Eich: My JSConf.US Presentation <11http://brendaneich.com/2011/05/my-jsconf-us-presentation/>

<pimpbot> bugmail: [Bug 12600] <video>In the ExclusiveTrackList object the unsigned long type is used for the selected indices. However, it's unclear if -1 is reserved to the no selection case (see non-normative box below). In this case, the type of the indices should be a signed long. <11http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-html-bugzilla/2011May/0199.html> 4** [Bug 12100] UAs do not actually convert DOMStrings to sequences of Unicode characters. Test case:

<CIA-1> html-spec: Fixing http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=12163

<pimpbot> 1112163: contributor, P3, RESOLVED FIXED, 13The illustration of header associations for the ID/Measurement/Average/Maximum table is incorrect. Review of Editor's Draft closing on May 8

mjs: chairs are asking for WG members to check the disposition of all issue except -131 and to ensure they are applied correctly.
... Get started on pre-LC review of the document.
... We are going to have a survey for going into LC in the near future.
... questions or comments on the review process.

paulc: the implication of the May 8 date is that the Chairs will be closing the pre-LC issues unless someone complains about how the WG decisions were applied.

ISSUE-131?

<trackbot> ISSUE-131 -- Should we add a caret location API to canvas, or is the focus API sufficient? -- open

<trackbot> http://www.w3.org/html/wg/tracker/issues/131

<pimpbot> Title: ISSUE-131: Should we add a caret location API to canvas, or is the focus API sufficient? - HTML Weekly Tracker (at www.w3.org)

mjs: This is the last outstanding pre-LC issue for which the WG decision has not be applied.
... Rich S has provided a delta for application and Ian Hickson has supplied a delta revised very recently.
... Both Rich S and Ian have objections with each other's diffs although the Chairs are hopeful of convergence.
... If there is no convergence by May 8, the Chairs will determine the next action.
... After resolution of the application of -131, we will be ready for a survey on going to Last Call.
