ISSUE-20: initTouchEvent method needs a "relatedTarget" parameter
initTouchEvent-relatedTarget
initTouchEvent method needs a "relatedTarget" parameter
- State:
- CLOSED
- Product:
- Touch Events v2 spec
- Raised by:
- Matt Brubeck
- Opened on:
- 2011-09-06
- Description:
- The Touch Events v2 spec adds a "relatedTarget" attribute to the TouchEvent interface. To allow authors to set this attribute, we should add a relatedTarget parameter to the initTouchEvent method.
[Note: We should try to maintain compatibility with WebKit initTouchEvent when adding parameters to initTouchEvent; see Issue-19.] - Related Actions Items:

Related notes:
During the 4-Oct-2011 call, we agreed to remove the initTouchEvent method from v1 and v2 thus this issue is not moot. See: http://www.w3.org/2011/10/04-webevents-minutes.html#item05
