ISSUE-42: RDFa API should use 'string' instead of 'DOMString' in the WebIDL
DOMString vs. string
RDFa API should use 'string' instead of 'DOMString' in the WebIDL
- State:
- CLOSED
- Product:
- RDFa 1.1 API
- Raised by:
- Manu Sporny
- Opened on:
- 2010-08-12
- Description:
- At one point it was noted that the DOMString type doesn't make sense for non-DOM environments that implement the RDFa API. We should determine whether or not the DOMString type maps cleanly to environments like Python, C, C++ and other non-DOM programming environments.

Related notes:
Proposal to close ISSUE-42 met no resistance, especially since the technical solution gave us no alternative but DOMString.
