New editors Draft

shepazu: Published a new draft... now!

abort and error events

shepazu: I changed the spec so that abort and error do not bubble per Simon's feedback (http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-dom/2010JanMar/0005.html)
... If anyone objects, please reply to Simon's mail.

Travis wonders if there is a compat concern (contrary to what Simon claims)? Have seen error bubble from LINK elements...

DOMActivate

shepazu: Per conversation with PFWG working group, sent email to CSSWG regarding the DOMActivate deprecation
... also deprecated DOMActivate in latest editor's draft.

smaug: 5.2.3.2 link doesn't work.
... in table of contents.

shepazu: Fixed snafu in the markup of this draft...

Topic nx, ny on MouseEvent

shepazu: Well, the algorithm is there... probably doesn't work yet.
... I'll be refining it from feedback (but only from smart math-y and SVG-y types)
... so please don't implement yet :)

(nx and ny, I mean)

Sync and Async now added

<shepazu> http://dev.w3.org/2006/webapi/DOM-Level-3-Events/html/DOM3-Events.html#event-types-list

<smaug> A test for sync resize events https://bug457862.bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?id=355244

Fast Mutation Events proposal

Travis: Finished another major revision. Incorporates existing feedback
... Adds Jonas's original proposal.
... Want to get it converted to W3C format.

shepazu: Want to see that as FPWD soon so that I can link to it from DOM L3 Events.

Travis: I'll work with Doug to get a draft put together.

<shepazu> http://www.w3.org/2009/12/docs/spec-conventions.html

What's coming up.

shepazu: Thinking of working next on sync/async issues in the spec.
... Then trusted/untrusted events
... Travis can you look over the section on vender prefixes (A.3) and provide feedback if any?

Travis: Will do.

shepazu: As always, please send updates to the list.

<shepazu> trackbot, end telcon
