EARL 1.0 Guide - review editorial changes

<squillace> http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-wai-ert/2009Sep/0002

<squillace> http://www.w3.org/WAI/ER/EARL10/WD-EARL10-Guide-20090723.html

MS: most changes were editorial or minor grammatical
... had to change the word wrapping to be able to read the code
... need to take care about word wrapping

CV: will try post-processing

<JohannesK> :-( <http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2FWAI%2FER%2FEARL10%2FWD-EARL10-Guide-20090723.html>

JK: several invalid code issues
... several block level elements that are wrapped in a <p> element

MS: should we be creating new drafts or edit in place?

SAZ: better to create new editor drafts and work on these
... and keep the previous drafts that were ready for publication as rollback

http://www.w3.org/WAI/ER/EARL10/WD-EARL10-Guide-20090702

MS: should we used "ED" and "WD" in the files names to help identify them?

SAZ: yes

MS: will create a new draft

SAZ: will rollback july 23rd version

CV: you introduced "ontology"

MS: yes, will change to "vocabuary"
... example 3.2 mismatches the description

CV: wrong source code
... will fix it

MS: need to highlight the relevant parts of the code

CV: can add comments to the code and highlight visually

MS: RFC keyword description hanging at the end of section 2

http://www.w3.org/WAI/ER/HTTP/WD-HTTP-in-RDF10-20090908.html

SAZ: trying to structure all documents consistently
... with an "audience of this document" and "document conventions" sections

MS: should add these
... what does "However, this original aim has been

expanded to cover wider testing scenarios."

scribe: actually mean? no examples provided

SAZ: would word it differently, the accessibility aspect continues to be the primary motivation
... EARL was always designed to be generic QA beyond accessibility only

MS: definition of aggregation is different from what we had agreed on

JK: says "different sets of test results" - so different reports
... but could make it a little clearer

MS: it says "EARL enables ..." so may be ok

(1) MS will do some changes and create a new document; (2) CV will continue work from that draft; (3) SAZ will rollback July 23rd draft

Document alignment - review editorial changes

<squillace> http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-wai-ert/2009Sep/0005>

http://www.w3.org/WAI/ER/EARL10/WD-EARL10-Schema-20090908.html

http://www.w3.org/WAI/ER/HTTP/WD-HTTP-in-RDF10-20090908.html

<squillace> SAZ: moved links other docs from abstract to intro

<squillace> ...added boilerplate sections for audience of doc and doc conventions

<squillace> ...e.g. keywords, namespaces

<squillace> ...removed tables for formatting namespaces - should this be DL, UL, or TABLE?

Upcoming meeting schedule and timeline

<squillace> next meeting 09/16
