<Steven> Semantic Web Deployment Working Group Extended

RDFa WG discussion --> SWD WG extension

benadida: There has been some discussion, privately and publicly
... There has been talk of waiting to see what happens with HTML5, so we can get a better idea of what an RDFa WG would entail
... If things go well in HTML WG, then RDFa WG would focus on other things (SVG, ODF, etc.)
... If things don't go well in HTML WG, then it is uncertain what the RDFa WG would focus on.
... W3C says we have SWD WG, and XHTML2 WG, may just continue SWD WG which would focus on RDFa.
... I think that's a good approach.
... We'll wait and see what happens with HTML WG and probably do RDFa work in SWD WG.

Steven: SWD WG charter has been extended.

benadida: Ivan is now team contact for SWD WD.
... The extension has happened, is that okay?

Manu: Concerned that SWD has many fingers in other activities.

benadida: No, we would just continue as we are now until the end of the year.

Manu: Oh, good in that case.

Steven: SWD is not going to do anything more, so this is purely administrative.

Tracking Recent Issues

benadida: We should re-open the tracker.

<scribe> ACTION: Ben to enter all recent RDFa issues into the tracker. [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2009/08/27-rdfa-minutes.html#action04]

Manu: +1 to add typo issues to tracker.

Steven: +1

TPAC

Steven: First week of November is going to be in San Jose.
... We should meet up.

Manu: Won't be able to make it, unfortunately.

benadida: Should we do it formally, as a F2F?

<Steven> I wonder if markbirbeck is coming toTPAC

RDFa in HTML5 proposal

benadida: What can we do to support?

Steven: I've got an action item to invite Sam and Mike to an RDFa call

benadida: I'll invite them to our call next week.

Manu: I've blocked out this weekend to work on HTML5+RDFa

Steven: Ivan will start turning up on this call instead of Ralph.

<scribe> ACTION: Manu to author 3 HTML5 drafts + separate Microdata draft. [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2009/08/27-rdfa-minutes.html#action05]
