reviews draft outline with focus on two types of discussion: "infrastructure" dealing with browser extensibility to new markups such as SMIL and ODF

scribe: and "application patterns" such as loose coupling with XML events, data-as-API pattern for coordination, and data binding vs. concrete presentation

Uli: perhaps we could also add a section to the "infrastructure" topics on XML Events as a markup type in its own right

... we have a fairly hard deadline of getting the XG report out by the end of our Charter, Oct 8
... folks should take a look at the outline, make suggestions, and also identify where they'd like to focus in terms of writing stuff up
... we still need to close the loop on the SMIL integration with the demo
... the current SMIL apps are separate though quite interesting in themselves
... would be great to have some simpler use case of SMIL within this app so we can show it's use as a pluggable controller -- dispatched by events and also dispatching events to control elements elsewhere on the page
