Binding Spec Transition to CR

Roland: Transition call has been held and was successful
... Publication should take place on Thursday June 4th

Status of testing

Eric: No updates (due to vacation)

Roland: Ditto

Actions

http://www.w3.org/2002/ws/soapjms/tracker/actions/open

Roland: 2 open actions - one relates to WSDL testcases, the other is for an update to the FAQ... No progress on either

Eric: Where will the FAQ live? On the W3C site?
... Will we link to it from the spec.

Roland: We should link to it from the W3C workgroup pages

URI Specification

Eric: Made the changes we had agreed on, but could not upload it because the upload checker objected to the legal wording at the top of the spec.
... There are 7 options in the RFC tool for the legal wording. May need signoff from the workgroup participants on the new wording.
... The safest option may be to use the pre-2009/02 option

<Roland> pre5378Trust200902

Eric: Which means that anyone wishing to copy the specification would need to contact the authors
... Have requested approval from TIBCO legal team, and will need the other authors to get the same approval from their company

http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc5378

Roland: It is worth waiting to get approval from lawyers rather than going ahead with the submission now

Eric's note referencing the problem: http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-soap-jms/2009May/0012.html

Eric: Ready to upload the specification as soon as we confirm approval

AOB

Eric: Thanks to Roland who is retiring from IBM and standing down as chair
... We should pick a chair for next week

All agreed - Eric to chair the calls until W3C makes a formal appointment
