Derek: Action 68 will be made an FAQ - no progress to date
Roland: On action 73 we still have the question of whether to change the jndi property prefix
Eric: We are still waiting for confirmation from Harald
Roland: Should we go ahead with the change anyway?
Eric: Last note to Harald said
that we would make the change, but asked if it clarified
anything
... Will send another note to Harald. We will not change
anything unless Harald confirms that it would clarify the
specification significantly
... Will aim to send note by end of today
Roland: That is the last
candidate editorial update which remains
... Would like to be in position to transition to Candidate
Recommendation
... Need a spec. which incorporates all last call
comments
... We should resolve to go to candidate recommendation at the
end of the week
Mark: So we would need a decision on whether we make the prefix change or not before then
Amy: You can make editorial changes once in Candidate Recommendation stage
Roland: Any disagreement on moving to Candidate Recommendation (CR)?
Eric: Agreed, subject to a
response from Harald
... ...so we should be in a position to change status next
Tuesday
Amy: We can resolve to go to CR once we have answered the last question
Resolution: We will transition to
CR regardless of whether the prefix change is made or not

RESOLUTION: We will transition to CR regardless of whether the prefix change is made or not
Roland: Eric will chase the prefix change with Harald
Eric: No progress on getting to
RFC
... Will send another note asking what we need to do next to
get the RFC completed

Phil: Went through checking the test cases to see whether they matched any other assertions, and found a couple of assertions which were covered already by test cases
Roland: The remaining issues are
WSDL coverage
... The wording of the conformance assertions has changed since
the test assertions document was generated (
http://dev.w3.org/2008/ws/soapjms/testcases/assertions/assertions.html
)
Phil: We should regen. the document each time the spec. changes
Roland: Need to think about how we satisfy the CR requirements - for each assertion to be covered by at least two implementations
Phil: Could be tricky - an implementation may not cover all the assertions - some are optional
Roland: Right, but there still needs to be two implementations
Eric: If IBM does not implement the WSDL support, how can an alternative implementation interoperate with an IBM hosted service?
Mark: Should the assertions table include a 'prescription' column to say if assertions are mandatory?
Roland: Will look through the assertions to see if wording can be clarified to make this clearer
