Actions

http://www.w3.org/MarkUp/tracker/actions/open

Roland: I haven't done 1 or 2

Shane: 14 we talked about yesterday, don't close it yet
... I have five actions marked 'pending review'

<Roland> http://www.w3.org/MarkUp/tracker/actions/pendingreview

Shane: Action 13 then
... (marked 'pending review'

<ShaneM> http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-xhtml2/2008Dec/0024.html

Shane: script to expand CURIEs

Roland: Add it to wiki?

<scribe> ACTION: Shane to add CURIE script to wiki [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2009/03/11-xhtml-minutes.html#action01]

<trackbot> Created ACTION-61 - Add CURIE script to wiki [on Shane McCarron - due 2009-03-18].

Close action-13

<trackbot> ACTION-13 Craft an example script to generically transform a string to a CURIE using the XML DOM for inclusion or reference from the CURIE spec. closed

Shane: Action 28

Roland: Was on the agenda for yesterday, on the agenda for the next vftf

Shane: Happy to leave this as pending

Roland: Consider action done, as it is on the agenda

close action-28

<trackbot> ACTION-28 add ITS to the XHTML 2 Doctype section closed

Shane: Action 45

Roland: We can close, we did this

close action-45

<trackbot> ACTION-45 Talk to the mobile people about allowing @lang closed

Roland: Action 49

Shane: I think they expect me to update the vocab document

close action-49

<trackbot> ACTION-49 - ensure that XHTML Vocab Document in sync with ARIA 1.0 Last Call draft are in sync closed

<scribe> ACTION: Shane to update vocab document for ARIA values [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2009/03/11-xhtml-minutes.html#action02]

<trackbot> Created ACTION-62 - Update vocab document for ARIA values [on Shane McCarron - due 2009-03-18].

Roland: Action 50

close action-50

<trackbot> ACTION-50 - send summation of discussion (this is what we need from language point of view and good practices bad practices) with examples closed

Roland Action 24

Steven [reads text]; what more do we need

Shane: What about a fragment?
... does the content get added to the DOM? I think not. And is the content of the element in the DOM after replacement?

Roland: Is this the same as action-27?

Shane: Look at the issues at the end of the chapter

Steven: I suspect (though need to check) that it should work like <object>
... so it is a CSS embedding, as replaced elements work
... I'll take another bash at it

Roland: Close 24, and deal with it under 27

close action-24

<trackbot> ACTION-24 Add text to embedding module saying how it works closed

Roland: Action-29
... I will write note that we won't do it

http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-html-editor/2009JanMar/0008.html

Steven: Action 47, I will ping Addison

Roland: What's holding up role?

Steven: Nothing. I will send.

CURIEs and Host languages

<Roland> http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-html/2009Mar/0000.html

Steven: So he's asking for SHOULD instead of MUST?

Roland: Well, we need to say that there MUST be a prefix mechanism

Shane: I should add this to tracker
... There is the question of another prefix mechanism being discussed

Steven: Leave design of mechanism to RDFa tf

Shane: It should be left to the host language

Steven: This is not a CR problem, because it would just weaken the normative requirements

Shane: Then I support it

proposed RESOLUTION: make the prefix mechanism a responsibility of the host language and not the CURIE spec

RESOLUTION: make the prefix mechanism a responsibility of the host language and not the CURIE spec

Next vftf

Roland: Tues or Thurs in a week, or extend the Weds call

Markus: I could make next week, I'd be up super early, but jetlagged anyway

Roland: How about next Weds?

Alessio: Not sure

Roland: Next Weds, 105 mins earlier?

Shane: OK with me

Steven: Not Alessio though. How about the 26th?

Shane: OK, if starting 8am my time

Markus: OK

Alessio: OK
