Executive Summary of W3C workshop on the role of Mobile technologies in Development published

Today W3C publishes the report from the April 2009 Workshop on the Role of Mobile Technologies in Fostering Social Development.

The Workshop was jointly organized by the W3C Mobile Web Initiative and the Ministry of Science and Technology of the Government of Mozambique, with the generous support of Gold Sponsors UNDP, the Web Foundation, Nokia, and Bharti Telesoft; and Silver Sponsors Opera Software, UNESCO, Microsoft Research, and MIT Legatum Center for Development and Entrepreneurship. This work is part of the Digital World Forum project (European Union’s FP7).
