<scribe> Agenda:
<Carmelo> Good Morning Dom
Dom's message on progress of licensing OMA test suites to W3C
Dom: OMA has sent a proposed licensing agreement to allow W3C to re-use their WCSS and XHTML MP test suite; that agreement is now under review by the W3C Legal Team - hopefully should progress quickly now.
Carmelo: Great news!
<scribe> ACTION: Dom to analyse the wcss modules: text, vEffects, vFormat [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2007/11/05-mwts-minutes.html#action06] [PENDING]

Carmelo's submissions for CSSMP
Carmelo: I sent an incomplete version of the work we did on the CSSMP test cases; will send the complete one later today, sorry about that.
Updated set of test cases from NIST on XHTML Forms
http://www.w3.org/2007/10/mwts-nist/index.html
Carmelo: we incorporated the feedback we've received in Cambridge
<scribe> ACTION: Dom to review the XHTML Forms test cases [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2007/12/11-mwts-minutes.html#action03]
<scribe> ACTION: Wilhelm to review the XHTML Forms test cases [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2007/12/11-mwts-minutes.html#action04]
Wilhelm: one quick comment: the
usage of the "red" color is usually associated with "bad"
... it would be good to not use red in these test cases
... use a more neutral color
Proposed test cases from dom on css media types
<scribe> ACTION: Wilhem to review the CSS Media Types test cases [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2007/12/11-mwts-minutes.html#action05]

<scribe> ACTION: Dmitri to map OMA test requirements 001 to 013 back to SVG spec sections [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2007/11/05-mwts-minutes.html#action02] [PENDING]
Carmelo: had to put this on hold, but it is almost complete - will send today hopefully
Dmitri: I haven't had a chance to
look into this yet
... I'll try to get this done by next week
<scribe> ACTION: Wilhelm to lead the work on mobile acid test [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2007/11/13-mwts-minutes.html#action10] [PENDING]
Wilhelm: it seems the Web is
moving away from the old Walled-gardens approach where mobile
devices where limited
... it's more and more the full-web approach
... I'd like to take as much as possible from the desktop
browser and see how it flies on mobile devices
Dom: maybe we just need to make ACID2 test work on mobile devices
Wilhelm: ACID2 is already running
on opera mobile (but not on opera mini, though)
... for our mobile acide test, we need to decide what we want
to put emphasis on
... ACID2 is mostly aimed toward bugs and corner cases
... I'd like a more general approach in this specific case
Dom: maybe we should extend the invitation to comment on a potential mobile acid test to a more general audience
Wilhelm: sounds good
<scribe> ACTION: Dom to release the mobile web test harness in public cvs [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2007/11/13-mwts-minutes.html#action11] [CLOSED]
Dom's message on the release of MTH as open source
<scribe> ACTION: Carmelo to review the mobile wicd test suite to include in the matrix of reviews [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2007/11/13-mwts-minutes.html#action12] [PENDING]
<scribe> ACTION: Dom to ask the CDF Working Group about integrating the wicd test suite in the test harness [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2007/11/27-mwts-minutes.html#action12] [CLOSED]
Resolved: Next calls: Dec 18, January 8
