ADMIN (10 min)

tomb: PROPOSED to accept minutes of 24 April telecon: http://www.w3.org/2007/04/24-swd-minutes.html

daniel: second

<scribe> ACTION: TomB to start questionnaire on date for f2f -- options are weeks of Nov 4 and Nov 11 [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2007/04/17-swd-minutes.html#action01] [CONTINUES]

SKOS

<scribe> ACTION: Antoine to make a proposal about SKOS Use Case document [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2007/04/24-swd-minutes.html#action03][CONTINUES]

<Antoine> http://www.w3.org/2006/07/SWD/wiki/UCRMaterial?action=AttachFile&do=get&target=ucr-20070508.html

antoine: current version of the draft, last modifications, in starting blocks, jon is ready to put on W3C web site. Porblem is we have no news from Sean, I pinged him at beginning of week, no news since then, maybe really busy, so I cannot propose anything for the moment. We have reached a version I'm happy with, better if had feedback from Sean.

tomb: when did sean take action?

antoine: action to review was done, then guus suggested that we give answers to sean's comments, then wait for sean to say if happy or not with comments and modifications, not happened yet.

tomb: html?

antoine: in html, already prepared.

jon: go ahead and publish it, can revise if get further feedback from Sean.

tomb: I agree; this is dated May 8; I suggest we vote on this next week, make another try to get Sean's feedback.

jon: I think without Sean's feedback, 3 weeks into waiting for his response.
... inclined to publish at this point.

tomb: agree, but want to consult with ralph or guus. suggest we bookmark this, when guus arrives propose this be published, then go ahead and publish.

alistair: could schedule vote, next week as deadline for final comments.

tomb: take this as default, but if Guus turns up can talk about voting today.

<scribe> ACTION: Guus revise his ISSUE-26 proposal to account for other options [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2007/04/24-swd-minutes.html#action07] [CONTINUES]

<scribe> ACTION: Alistair to write up two alternatives for representing Collections [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2007/04/24-swd-minutes.html#action08] [DONE]

<TomB> Alistair: Sent Issue-33 proposal today - "minimal fix" and "bundles" proposals

tomb: continue discussion of issue 33 on the list.

tomb: guus isn't here, so schedule a vote to publish SKOS use cases next, we're done with our agenda, we're not making as much progress as we need to, need to focus our efforts, need to chip away at the issues, more discussion on list. VM and recipes don't have momentum, need to find a way to get some momentum in those activities. Moving forward with SKOS is really essential, suggestions?

daniel: all issues summarised?

http://www.w3.org/2006/07/SWD/track/products/3

<JonP> http://www.w3.org/2006/07/SWD/track/issues/raised

<TomB> http://www.w3.org/2006/07/SWD/wiki/Deliverables#TrackingSKOSIssues

<JonP> http://www.w3.org/2006/07/SWD/wiki/SkosIssuesSandbox

Alistair: Other issues not yet on tracker - still in Sandbox ...these include OWL-DL compatibility issues ...Guus guided me through this a few telecons ago... ...Not yet addressed: mapping between concept schemes......OWL-DL compatibility is not trivial......issue of coordination - where things like in MESH combine main indexing term with modifier to create something different......that doesn't yet have an issue number - not yet in tracker, so no number yet.

Jon: I sent a message to list suggesting we put all issues in Tracker right away......they should all be in the Tracker as "raised". Then put wiki page for each issue, so we have place to attach discussion.

Alistair: I assumed we should be doing that.

<TomB> http://www.w3.org/2006/07/SWD/wiki/Deliverables#TrackingSKOSIssues

<TomB> ACTION: Jon and Alistair: Move SKOS issues over from Sandbox to Tracker on an ongoing basis [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2007/05/08-swd-minutes.html#action10]

Antoine: Proposing we start telecon discussion with grouping construct issue.

guus: put both issues on agenda for next week (26 and 33)...
... discussion about grouping two weeks ago, gave some input for discussion, minutes will show.

<TomB> ACTION: Antoine post link to Relationships between labels discussion in preparation for next week's call [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2007/05/08-swd-minutes.html#action11]

<scribe> ACTION: alistair to post links to grouping construct discussion in prep for next week [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2007/05/08-swd-minutes.html#action12]

tomb: we want to publish SKOS use cases, waiting for Sean's comments, were going to schedule next week, can we vote now?

guus: happy to go now, no objections to publish.

tomb: objections? none heard.

RESOLVED to publish SKOS Use Cases as Working Draft

guus: editor's take action to produce pubrules compliant version

antoine: haven't tried pubrules.

tomb: can anyone else comment on last RDFa telecon?

Simone: no RDFa telcon this week
