<trackbot> Date: 06 February 2007

<scribe> scribe: pauld

wonders why the Agenda he sent didn't make it to the list

discussion of validation service

needs to accept a link

hopefully it will work from a live version of the patterns.xml / stylesheet

gcowe: now have CVS access, changed patterns and examples

jonc: had some databinding issues around nillable, will review examples and look at tests
... sent mail on Microsoft and bare arrays: http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-xsd-databinding/2007Feb/0000.html
... had a similar request internally
... limitation of Siebel's modelling tool and repeated simple types

pauld: is Siebel a toolkit we'd want to add to our testsuite?

jonc: it's not a classic databinding, but does provide a mapping
... could be difficult to get a copy, but may be able to gain access to a BT development environment

pauld/jonc: this tool could be too bad for us to use as a reason to remove patterns

jonc: BT developers also talk about efficiency in XSLT

pauld: suspect that's the non-schema aware "perl" toolkit argument

<scribe> ACTION: jcalladi to try to gain access to a Siebel dev environment [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2007/02/06-databinding-minutes.html#action01]

<trackbot> Created ACTION-103 - Try to gain access to a Siebel dev environment [on Jonathan Calladine - due 2007-02-13].

jonc: also been asking around about experience with maxOccurs>1 and not unbounded. No evidence it doesn't work, just not validated

pauld: see you next week
