This document describes the http://www.w3.org/2005/xpath-functions/collation/codepoint collation of the XQuery 1.0 and XPath 2.0 Functions and Operators specification (November 2005 version).

This collation provides the ability to compare strings based on code point values. Every implementation of XPath 2.0 and XQuery 1.0 must support this collation.
