SDTM model: http://esw.w3.org/topic/HCLSIG/Drug_Safety_and_Efficacy?action=AttachFile&do=get&target=CRT_DDSpecification1_0_0.pdf

kerstin: SDTM model per clinical study

kerstin, confined to only one mapping that may not be sufficient

Jim, attempt to map genomics info into SDTM

kerstin, improved observation definition

kerstin, guid for each observation, qualifiers model -> properties, clusters of observation

Who to map SDTM to RDF?

kerstin, think abstractly first in terms of uses, then specify mappign to RDF

jim, mapping of genomics to SDTM: biomarker as signature of multiple results, hard to do in SDTM; also, refer to ontologies such as anatomy aspart of the biomarker data set

jim, also include analyses of the data into the mode; does CDISC handle this at all?

STDM codes: http://esw.w3.org/topic/HCLSIG/Drug_Safety_and_Efficacy/SDTM_Codes

jim, usually handled as a SAS table?

this discussion should be used to frame the working draft for the SDTM task-- everyone here agrees!

Proposes to use (for now) email and word attachements-- versions posted on the DSE site: http://esw.w3.org/topic/HCLSIG/Drug_Safety_and_Efficacy
