Getting there

The nearest airport is Dinard (DNR-Pleurtuit). However, we would recommend the CdG-TGV option below (option 1):

  1. Land at Paris Charles-de-Gaulle airport (CdG), walk straight to the TGV station (High Speed Train) at CdG, take a train for Rennes (3h). From Rennes: a) take a further train to Saint-Malo (1h00), then a taxi; or b) rent a car (50min).

  2. Alternatively, especially if you are thinking of spending the week-end in Paris, take the TGV at Paris-Montparnasse station to Saint-Malo (3h, two direct trains every day) or to Rennes (2h only, at least one train every hour). A cab will take between 0h45 and 1h30 to go from CdG to Paris-Montparnasse, depending on the traffic.

  3. From the UK, either: a) take a plane at Stansteed airport, you will arrive directly in Dinard (small propeller engine); or b) take the ferry from Portsmouth, you will arrive at Saint-Malo.
