Requirements for Web ContentS by CarlosI

we are looking for something to describe groups of pages

i am having trouble hearing niq

<niq> skype--

we have a problem - how to relate specific error/result to groups of pages rather than repeating error/result. i.e. for result A pages x,y,z apply

sorry, just lost my sound

<niq> saz: we have multi-value location pointers for that

<JohannesK> CV: CI's requirements about scope of tests or scope of claims?

<JohannesK> SAZ: main motivation is make claims; need for describing groups of resources

<JohannesK> SAZ: no big difference between the two use cases

<JohannesK> CV: use of wild cards leads to problems; need to list all URLs

<JohannesK> CV: Nick's proposal is too complex

<JohannesK> CV: we need a resource list

<JohannesK> CI: need different view on report (project leader, developer, ...)

<JohannesK> SAZ: EARL report needs to include whole data, applications may transform different views from EARL

<JohannesK> SAZ: there may be situations where resource list can be collapsed

<JohannesK> CV: application can create collapsed things

<JohannesK> CI: use case: collapse information before transmitting via web service

<JohannesK> SAZ: use http://example.org for whole domain?

<JohannesK> JK: this is just one resource

<JohannesK> SAZ: people may misuse this

<JohannesK> CV: that's why I want list of specific resources

<JohannesK> SAZ: do we want blanket statements?

<JohannesK> SAZ: need further discussion on the list

<JohannesK> CV: it is possible to go from specific to general, but not the other way round

<shadi> ACTION: shadi summarize issue about blanket statements to the group [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2006/04/19-er-minutes.html#action04]

<shadi> ACTION: everyone read, think, and comment on the issue on the mailing list [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2006/04/19-er-minutes.html#action05]
