- the ‘über-DTD’ - build DTD Z which unifies X and Y
- the ‘wait-and-see’ - build DTD Y, do any sort of reconciliation (along with accessibility, internationalization, etc.) in “phase 2 of the project”
- the ‘brush-off’ - build DTD Y becase it's ‘better’ than X
- the ‘smart-data’ - attach meaning with DTD
