2. Telcon Planning

   I'd like to schedule discussion of the following issues and their draft finding in the near future... when would be good for the relevant finding editors.

   • XMLVersioning-41 and draft finding part1 and part2 (see also Guide to Versioning XML Languages using XML Schema 1.1).
   • schemeProtocol-49 and draft finding
   • URNsAndRegistry-50 and draft finding

3. Issue IRIEveryWhere-27
   • From the issues list: "The XML Core WG would like TAG input on whether the desirability of adopting IRIs into the web infrastructure early outweighs the anticipated disruption of legacy systems."
   • IRI spec published as RFC in January 2005
   • XQuery is now a recommendation. XQuery functions and operators defines URI (generalized to IRI) handling functions and operators eg.
   • Most recent TAG action was to Dan
     "DanC to ask TimBL whether XQuery and XML Namespaces 1.1 address IRIEverywhere to his satisfaction, noting Mappings and identity in URIs and IRIs"
     
   • Are we able to reslove this issue?
     If so, with what resolution?
     In not, what further action do we need to take?

   • First public CURIE WD published 7th March 2007
   • To date CURIEs have been discussed under ultimateQuestion-42.
     Should we create a separate issue for their ongoing discussion?
     If so, we need a volunteer to describe the issue.
