Description

SPARQL playground is a standalone application to learn SPARQL - Protocol and RDF Query Language. It uses Sesame 2.8.6 as SPARQL Engine. It is open-source and is currently maintained by the SIB Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics (http://www.isb-sib.ch/).

It is a multi platform and generic tool, that can be customized with any rdf data.

http://sparql-playground.isb-sib.ch comes with a simple set of data with persons and their pets (less than 100 triples).

Tutorials / Workshops

The SPARQL playground was designed for teaching the technology in tutorials / workshops. It works offline (therefore no need to have a WIFI connection) and can be customised with your own specific examples and exercices. While online, it also supports federated queries with any endpoint. It is free to use.
