Collaborate with CDISC
Project Proposal
CDISC is an organization that creates clinical data interchange standards. It is an important organization for us to work with as most pharmaceutical companies are members, they have standards that have been approved by the FDA, and because they collaborate with HL7.
This task force would explore the optimal way to collaborate with CDISC. For example, should HCLSIG work with CDISC to create an ontology of data elements for use within the SDTM, or should we demonstrate how Semantic Web technologies can be used to extend the SDTM to include support for biomarkers.
