I am finding the wiki markup scheme remarkably trying, and hard to use to mark up pages; perhaps it's only that I'm unconvincd of the premise that angle brackets are scary and that it's nicer never to see them, even if it means overloading lots of ASCII strings with special meaning. Either I'll overcome my aversion, or I'll control it, or I won't be doing much work on this wiki.

Hi Michael. Yes, this is PoorMansHypertext; the gap between what's ubiquitously deployed and what's comfortable is still uncomfortably large. -- DanConnolly
