Process 2020 Presentation

The Process is the governing document for the standardization activities at
W3C. The proposed 2020 update represents some of the biggest changes to the
W3C Process in many years.

To help the AC, who will be voting on the changes, better understand the
motivation behind these changes as well as the nature of the proposed changes
themselves, we scheduled a presentation for the May AC meeting, which will be
posted as a captioned/translated video on May 11th. But since Process 2020 is
already under informal AC review [1], the Process editors and chair thought it
would be useful if we made the materials we had prepared available earlier.

We encourage everyone with an interest in the W3C Process to review the
materials, ask questions, and send comments. Barring any critical issues, this
is the final version that we expect to send to the AC for ratification after
the AC informal review period closes at the end of May. The sooner we are able
to address your comments, the sooner we can finalize Process 2020. :)
