How to Report an Issue in the Test Suite

We want the tests in the HTML5 test suite to correctly support the HTML5 specification. One way to make sure that this occurs is to have an open feedback mechanism for submitted and approved test cases.
For testcases that have been submitted the to the test repository, please send issues/feedback to the list (public-html-testsuite@w3.org).
For approved tests we want to have a more effective tracking mechanism that just reading the list. As such for testcases that have been approved, you need to open a BugZilla bug with the fields below set in addition to sending the issue to the list.
The Product == 'HTML WG'
The Component == 'testsuite'

Good Feedback

• Be specific where the testcase conflicts with the specification (link to spec)
• Bad format (invalid html)
• Wording on the pass/fail conditions for the test case are unclear
• Use of non-standard api/browser features
• Unneeded test complexity
