 1637c3fd/\n\nThe [Pointer Events Working Group](https://www.w3.org/groups/
 wg/pointer-events/) would like to explore the possibility of adding native
  gesture support to the web platform. Currently\, authors have to rely on 
 third-party solutions\, or roll their own gesture recognition from basic p
 rinciples (tracking individual pointers and analysing their movement to de
 termine if they user is trying to perform a gesture or not).\n\nThis featu
 re has been requested various times over the years.\n\nAt this stage\, we 
 envisage a basic set of gestures such as "swipe"\, "scale"\, "rotate" that
  authors can "listen for" - see https://github.com/w3c/pointerevents/issue
 s/636\n\n**Goal(s):**\nWe would like to get feedback\, ideas\, use cases f
 rom the community\, to help the group make initial design decisions for th
