595e4f73/\n\nThe mission of the Web-based Digital Twins for Smart Cities I
nterest Group\n(SCIG) is working on the following:\n* identify and documen
t use cases and requirements that W3C specifications need to meet to suppo
rt various services within Smart Cities\,\n* obtain feedback from all stak
eholders on the usage of Web technologies for those services\,\n* gather e
xpert input on important features for those services based on the Web tech
nology\,\n* and provide a forum for technical and business discussions rel
ated to those services.\n\nYou will learn the current best practices of cu
tting-edge standards for smart\ncities around possible framework and vocab
ulary ontologies\, and then see how Web standards could possibly counter t
he fragmentation of existing smart city\napproaches.\n\n**Goal(s):**\nBase
 d on the [group's Charter](https://www.w3.org/2024/06/smart-cities/)\, we'
ll summarize the SCIG's discussion so far\, and ask the key stakeholders f
rom related SDOs about their pain points and current best practices. Then
we'd like to discuss what is still missing and what Web standards possibly
could improve the fragmented situation.\n\nAgenda\n\n1. Review the discus
sion so far\n2. Get input from stakeholders about their pain points and cu
rrent practices\n3. Discuss what's still missing and what/how Web standard
 s could help\n\n**Materials:**\n- [Session proposal on GitHub](https://git
