 rse materials. Nick Brown\, VP Product\, will share insights from VitalSou
 rce's experience building _Bookshelf CoachMe_\, an award-winning AI-powere
 d feature that has been shown to triple student engagement with their text
 books and improve learning outcomes.\n\nNick will outline the learning sci
 ence foundations that guide their AI development\, their approach to balan
 cing publisher rights and concerns with innovation\, and lessons learned f
 rom years of research and implementation. Nick will also discuss their AI 
 principles framework\, which ensures their technology remains ethical\, tr
 ansparent\, and centered on improving educational outcomes rather than sim
 ply deploying AI for its own sake. The session will conclude with open Q&A
  regarding the future landscape of AI in educational content and reading s
 ystems.
