 from the [IoT Prism lab of the University of Bologna](https://iotprismlab.
 com). In their talk\, they will focus on data integration and processing f
 or the design and development of large-scale IoT monitoring systems. \nThe
  talk is structured into two parts. \n\nIn the first part\, they will addr
 ess Structural Health Monitoring (SHM). They will discuss the challenges o
 f IoT data collection and demonstrate how they have used the W3C Web of Th
 ings (WoT) standards to address the fragmentation of data sources.\n\nThe 
 second part will cover their findings on the automatic generation of IoT s
 ystems using the W3C WoT. They will present approaches and frameworks that
  enable the creation of digital twins (DT) from operational W3C Web of Thi
 ngs systems and discuss open issues and future directions in this area.\n\
